Yesterday saw the the launch of Lucy Bernholz’s Philanthropy and the Social Economy: Blueprint 2014. The Blueprint is an annual industry forecast written by leading philanthropy scholar Lucy Bernholz about the social economy — private capital used for public good. In her fifth annual industry forecast, Lucy uses both the American and European landscapes to discuss the new “digital civil society” and the challenges and opportunities that arise from it.
Keystone’s work is cited under the banner “Constituent Feedback” – one of Lucy’s top ten buzzwords for 2013 and one on which she suspects we will hear more and more on. She notes that with modern technology, “speaking to constituents is within reach for almost any organisation”.
The Blueprint is available to download for free here. Have anything to add on the latest Blueprint; what do you agree with? What worries you? What excites you? What predictions can you add to the mix? Share you thoughts on twitter: #blueprint14.
