Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation blog piece - "Achieving impact together: harmony in thought, speech and action"

It is terrific to see this effervescence of humility at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Will it mature into a new organizational culture of mutual accountability with partners and grantees, or will inertia win out -- the foundation defaulting to stereotypical grantmaker "we know best"? The answer, I believe, will turn on whether "relationship metrics" get embedded in program officer appraisal systems. Either way, this is an  important case to follow.
